The cast of the intended novel Resident Evilreboot continues to grow. After Kaya Scodelario, Robbie Amell and Hannah John-Kamen is now Donal Logue (Blade, 1998) confirmed for a role in the film. He plays Brian Irons, the head of the police force of Raccoon City, the place where all the trouble takes place.

Logue plays Brian Irons, the head of the Raccoon City Police Department. Despite his position, he is completely corrupt and takes bribes from the shady company Umbrella, which he leaves alone in return. In 1998, the year that the city is destroyed, Irons goes completely out of control and starts murdering police officers and refugees.

Violent History
Irons also has a violent history when it comes to women and is suspected of being a serial killer, but his position in the police force and the destruction of the city mean that this is never actually investigated.

In addition to Logue, Chad Rook (The Flash) en Lily Gao (The Handmaid’s Tale) signed for a spot in the cast. They will join the previously cast Kaya Scodelario, Hannah John-Kamen, Robbie Amell, Tom Hopper, Avan Jogia and Neal McDonough.

It looks like the reboot will be more faithful to the original computer games than the first 2002 film adaptation. The film, directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down, 2017), should be released sometime in 2021.
