2.- What should the COVID-19 certificate have?

“This is a certificate issued by any medical center, public or private, indicating that the traveler has suffered and overcome the disease”, underlines the Consulate.

In addition, it must be “valid within 180 days of the first positive test”.

3.- Negative test

In case the person requests an RT-PCR test, this must be valid up to 72 hours before the trip, while the antigen test will be allowed less than 24 hours in advance.

“Children under the age of 12 do not need to have any of these three health requirements. They are exempt “, they clarify.

It is only necessary to respect one of them to enter Spain. Furthermore, it is no longer necessary to fill in the form required by the Spanish Ministry of Health and the QR code.

“From Tuesday 20/09/2022 it will no longer be necessary to fill in the SpTh health check form to travel to Spain or present the SpTh QR code, so the Spain Travel HEalth (SpTH) portal is no longer operational, both the site and the mobile application, ”highlights Exteriors on its website.
