Repsol Honda boss reveals the latest condition of Marc Marquez, when can you race again?

KOMPAS.com – Forest Repsol Honda, Alberto Puig, reveal current conditions Marc Marquez.

Marc Marquez is now in the recovery phase after undergoing a second operation on Monday (3/8/2020).

The operation was performed after the titanium plate on his right arm was damaged due to accumulated stress.

“Little by little he is recovering. He is resting,” said Alberto Puig MotoGP.

“It is clear that he wants to be here ( MotoGP Austria), but he understands that he has to recover. “

Marc Marquez has definitely been absent from the Austrian MotoGP which will be held this weekend at the Red Bull Ring Circuit.

The typical racer with the number 93 is predicted to return to racing in the sixth series MotoGP 2020 namely the San Marino GP which will be held at the Misano Circuit, 13 September.

However, Alberto Puig did not mention the exact date when Marc Marquez could really race again.

Instead of promising Marc to return to the sixth series, Puig emphasized that currently the racer nicknamed The Baby Alien is focused on restoring his injury first.

“The aim is to give time for the injury to heal and that is being done every day now,” Puig said.

“I think everyone understands that it takes time for recovery. We will see day by day how the condition will be,” said Alberto Puig.

Racing MotoGP Austria 2020 will be held on Sunday (16/8/2020) at 19.00 WIB.

Previously, the third, fourth, and qualifying free practice will be held the day before on Saturday (15/8/2020).
