Moroccan press reports have claimed that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) is considering a proposal to hold the CAF and CAF semi-finals from a playoff on a neutral pitch.
According to the Moroccan newspaper “LE360”, Kav is considering holding two matches of the African Champions League semi-finals in Cameroon, in light of the fact that the Corona virus did not invade its lands, besides hosting the final of the continental championship on the stadium and the city of “Douala”.
The newspaper added that the Kev Emergency Committee has plenty of time before resolving its decision on the two semi-finals, whether in the Champions League or the Confederation, which will be held next May.
There are three Egyptian clubs in the CAF Champions League semi-finals, with Al-Ahly and Zamalek in the first continental championship at club level, alongside Pyramids in the second championship of the competition.
The lottery resulted in two Arab-Moroccan confrontations in the African Champions League, where the two Egyptian poles of Al-Ahly and Zamalek will go out to face Wydad and the Oval Raja in the first or the second of May.
As for Pyramids, he will face Horia Conakry, as the first match will be held in Egypt, with the return leg to be held in Guinea during May as well.
