reopening of Tison bathing this Tuesday, August 1st

From this Tuesday, August 1, from 2 p.m., swimming in the Bassin de Tison will once again be open to the public. It had been closed for three days following an unfavorable water control.

On the morning of this Tuesday, August 1, the city of Poitiers, in Vienne, announced the reopening as of this afternoon, 2 p.m., the bath of the Tison basin. Indeed, the water analysis results showed a correct water quality.

According to our colleagues from The New Republic, the site had been closed for the last three days on Saturday July 29, after a rainy episode. Indeed, this closure is systematic for a period of 72 hours after a rainy episode of more than 10 mm of rain fell in 24 hours.

During these closures, water tests were carried out and allowed the basin to reopen.
