The very last is the new project of chef Paul Toussaint. The one to whom we owed the excellent Haitian food of the Agrikol restaurant opened his own restaurant where he is chef-owner: Kamúy.

This new establishment has been occupying since August 8 the premises of the former Taverne F at the Place des Festivals in the Quartier des Spectacles.

Kamúy is a concept that goes beyond the simple restaurant. The chef actually wants his customers to travel across the Caribbean with food, music and visual art. This is why the walls and windows of the room have passed under the artist’s brush. Oski.

While the visual and musical experience is enjoyable, Kamúy stands out with the menu that showcases the rich flavors of the Caribbean. Tamal, shrimp, jerk, fish, lomo al trapo and many other specialties can be found on the chef’s menu.

Everything has been thought out to recreate the atmosphere of a traditional Caribbean market as well as possible.

Kamúy will most likely become one of the best places to feast around a good meal with friends in the Quartier de Spectacles!

1485, rue Jeanne-Mance, Montreal

Open 7 evenings from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
