Renders show Motorola Edge + with 3.5mm jack and 108Mp camera – Tablets and phones – News

EvLeaks has posted official-looking renders of a new Motorola smartphone to Twitter. The device has a 3.5mm audio connection and gets three cameras on the back. The screen has curved edges and a camera hole.

According to Evan Blass it is the Motorola Edge +. XDA Developers published photos on Monday from the Motorola Edge, another four-camera model, but with a 64-megapixel sensor for the primary camera. That device would get a Snapdragon 765-soc, which soc is in the Edge + version, is not yet clear.

The Edge devices have curved edges, which makes it clear that they are OLED panels. XDA shows that the screen supports a refresh rate of 90Hz. It would be a 6.7 “panel with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. Both devices have a 3.5mm connection, something that is becoming increasingly rare on high-end models.

XDA reported earlier about a similar phone with a Snadragon 865. Back then it was talked about the Motorola One 2020, but it seems to be the Edge device from which the renders have now appeared. For a long time, Lenovo has not released high-end smartphones in the Motorola line. With the Edge models, the manufacturer seems to want to regain market share in the higher segment. It is not yet known when the devices will be announced.
