JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Nawawi Pomolango handed over to the Police and PT Garuda Indonesia for his incident with Amien Rais’ son, Ahmad Mumtaz Rais, on a Garuda Indonesia flight from Gorontalo-Makassar-Jakarta route, Wednesday (12/8).

“What is certain is that I have conveyed my story to the relevant authorities, namely the Soetta Airport Police and the Garuda. Furthermore, it is up to them to respond and follow up on it,” Nawawi said in his statement in Jakarta, Monday (17/8/2020), as quoted from Between.

He also gave an example if there was a violation of the provisions in the aviation law, then PT Garuda Indonesia was the right person to respond.

Previously, Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri said that the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police had met Nawawi at the KPK building, Jakarta.

“The Airport Police (Soekarno-Hatta) has also come to see Pak Nawawi at the KPK office and it has been conveyed in principle that the settlement of the incident is fully left to the authorized officers,” Ali said in his statement in Jakarta, Friday (14/8).
