LONDON – John Eyers, a health practitioner and bodybuilder from English died after being infected Covid-19. Eyers died of complications triggered by the virus.

Eyers’ twin sister Jenny McCann said her twin contracted Covid-19 a month ago and before being exposed, she refused to be vaccinated because she “underestimated” Covid-19. Also read: Holiday Dreams 22 Million Britons Ambyar Gegara Expensive PCR Test

According to McCann, his twin experienced organ failure, as a result of the Covid-19 infection after being hospitalized. According to the 42-year-old woman, Eyers has been on all medication and has also been put on a ventilator.

“My 42-year-old twin died of Covid-19 last week. He died exactly four weeks after testing positive. He is the fittest and healthiest person I know. He hiked the Welsh mountains and camped in the wilderness four weeks before his death,” McCann said.

“He has been given medicine. The hospital has done everything they can. In the end the Covid-19 infection and organ failure took his life,” he continued, as reported by Al Arabiya on Sunday (8/8/2021).

The woman who lives in London said her brother refused to be vaccinated. The reason, McCann explained, was because Eyers felt very fit and healthy, and felt that even if he was exposed to Covid-19, it wouldn’t have much of an impact on him.

“He thought if he caught Covid-19, he would be fine. He thought he would have mild symptoms. He didn’t want the vaccine to enter his body,” he said. Also read: Interested in Studying in the UK, Chevening Scholarship Registration Opens Again

McCann admitted that a few days before his brother was rushed to the hospital, he and Eyers had an argument over vaccines. According to McCann, Eyers finally admitted that he regretted having rejected his suggestion to get vaccinated.

“Before the ventilator was placed on him, he told his consultant that he wished he had been vaccinated. That he hopes he listens to what I have to say.”
