With the debut of the Redmi Note 9 5G line, a cheap smartwatch with a good battery was launched – Redmi Watch. Offers sleep monitoring and you can swim in it. At a price of about PLN 170, it is a very interesting model – although we will have to wait for global availability.
Redmi Watch was officially presented along with Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. Although it was hard to expect that he would be able to overshadow their profitability, it probably did – it will be difficult to find a competitive device for it at this price. Xiaomi has gone crazy today.
The new smartwatch looks exactly like the leaks that define it as Mi Watch Lite. Instead of a metal case, plastic was used, which allowed the watch to be significantly slimmer – it weighs only 35 grams, which is a big advantage in the context of a good battery. At the front we have a 1.4-inch display with a good density of 323 ppi.

The manufacturer ensures that Redmi Watch offers support for 7 sports, which does not sound particularly impressive, but the advantage is that there are swimming among them. It is possible thanks to appropriate protection against water, which is confirmed by the presence of the 5 ATM standard. The specification is complemented by sleep monitoring, breathing exercises and NFC (which does not necessarily mean that the global variant will offer contactless payments).
Redmi Watch is to offer 12 days of work using all monitoring options. This is a very decent result, definitely above the average in this class.

Of course, the best price is. Redmi Watch was priced at $ 45 ($ 41 in the premiere promotion), which translates to about PLN 170. Xiaomi currently does not reveal details about global availability, but we can probably count on it – recently such a version has been released, for example Mi Watch Color.
