Dhe spring blood donation drive at the Gföhl Red Cross office was very well attended. Ten first-time donors were welcomed.
230 people followed the call for a blood donation campaign by the Red Cross Gföhl branch in April. The mobilization took place by means of 1,398 SMS invitations and 217 calls from the blood donation center.
202 people were approved to donate, around two thirds of the donors were men. The gender distribution was reversed for the ten first-time donors: seven of them were women.
91 visitors came directly from Gföhl, the second largest group with 22 participants came from Lichtenau. According to the age distribution, the largest donor group with 122 people came from the age group 41 to 60 years. Three people have already donated more than 150 times, one even more than 176 times. All awards will be made up for at the autumn blood donation campaign in Gföhl on September 25, 2022.
