Red Fort Violence: Punjab actor Deep Sidhu arrested in connection with the Republic Day incident

January 26 violence: Punjab actor and activist Deep Sidhu was arrested by a special cell of Delhi police. The arrest was made by the SWR Range from the special cell. Sidhu has been on the run since a violent protest broke out in the national capital during the agricultural tractor demonstration on January 26. Deep Sidhu was accused of instigating the protesters who stormed the Red Fort and raised the Nishan Sahib and other flags from the walls. He has been appointed to an FIR by the Delhi Police.
