The scandal-ridden television program Paradise hotel is back this fall. The program was paused in the spring of 2021, following allegations of abuse during filming, prompting Viaplay to file a complaint. The preliminary investigation was dropped but the ongoing season and a previously already recorded season were stopped.
In 2022, they instead tried to launch an updated and “kinder” version of the concept. A program that went by the name “Paradise”, where Tone Sekelius was the host. The updated program format received two seasons. The second season premieres in April, but not on Viaplay. Instead, it was recently announced that the program will be broadcast on Pluto Tv.
She is doing her sixth season
At the same time, Viaplay has decided to let Paradise hotel return to its original format. Then the seasoned Paradise hotel profile Rebecca Stella also returns, doing her sixth season as host.
I have really missed and longed for Paradise hotel, the way it once was, with lots of drama, love and friendship. Finally, it’s time to stir the pot again and I’m so excited, she says in a press release.
