At times, the wind speed reached 320 km / h
At least 150 people were injured after a tornado hit the southeastern part of the Czech Republic. According to local authorities, there are currently three victims of the disaster. The phenomenon is extremely rare for the country. The wind speed was between 260 and 320 km / h, making it the strongest storm in the history of the Czech Republic. A state of emergency has been declared.

Roofs of buildings have been removed, windows have been smashed and cars have been pinned down by fallen trees. Serious damage was inflicted in 7 settlements. About 100,000 households were left without electricity.
