Chicago rapper FBG Cash, whose music focused on money, violence and threats against challengers, was fatally shot in Chicago early Friday.
ABC7 Chicago reported that the rapper, real name Tristian Hamilton, suffered multiple gunshot wounds while sitting in his vehicle in a Chicago neighborhood. The shooters were in a black four-door sedan. They reportedly stopped, got out and opened fire on the FBG Cash vehicle. They then left the scene by car.
The unidentified victim, 29, was shot and injured in the left arm and upper back, according to ABC7 Chicago. She was transferred to Advocate Christ Medical Center and is now in critical condition.
FBG Cash had multiple gunshot wounds to his body. He was taken to the same hospital and pronounced dead there.
FBG Cash was a member of the Chicago Fly Boy Gang [FBG], also known as the Clout Boyz or “tooka gang”. It features fellow rappers Lil Jay, Wooski, Billionaire Black, Young Mello, FBG Dutchie and the late FBG Duck, who was killed in 2020.
FBG Cash’s latest music video, titled “Intro”, was released just two weeks ago.
