At 19, Quebecer Raphaël Lavoie made the decision to play the next hockey season in Sweden, he who reached an agreement with Rögle BK.

Lavoie could have chosen to come back with the Chicoutimi Saguenéens in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, but he prefers to join a professional league in September.

The Edmonton Oilers’ second-round pick in the 2019 draft, Lavoie split his final junior season between the Halifax Mooseheads and the Saguenéens. He totaled 82 points, including 38 goals, in 55 games.
