Christian Conteh is honored to play for Feyenoord. The wing attacker was taken over by the Rotterdammers on Thursday from the German St. Pauli.
“I feel great,” said Conteh through the club channels of Feyenoord. “It is a huge challenge for me to play for such a club. With an incredible trainer.” For Conteh it will be a big step to Feyenoord. “To be approached by such a club is a great moment for me. I did not think about it for a long time and knew that I wanted to take a step.”
Conteh is also called ‘Raketenmann’ in Germany. “That suits me. I am a fast player, I like to go one-on-one at speed. That is why I got that nickname in Hamburg,” said the twenty-year-old attacker, who had to do last season with a serious injury. “But it has been gone for months. I can sprint and I feel good. I want to give everything for this club and continue to develop myself.”
Conteh signed a contract in Rotterdam until mid-2024.
