Putin’s remarks about Navalny have caused outrage among Russian oppositionists

Russian opposition activists are outraged by allegations against Russian President Vladimir Putin at a press conference in Geneva on Wednesday after a summit with US President Joe Biden in prison in Geneva.

The Kremlin landlord defended the decision to imprison Navalny in prison, arguing that the opposition, when he went to Germany for treatment last year, had deliberately ignored the requirement to register with the judiciary, which he had to comply with the conditional sentence.

“Eee, what? Deliberately went abroad for treatment so as not to be noted in the inspection, ”Kira Jarmiša, Navalļņa’s press secretary, asked on Twitter.

“Here’s how Navalni deliberately left,” Jarmis recalled, publishing a photograph alongside the recording showing a stretcher being crawled on a plane with Navalny in a coma.

Leonid Volkov, a close ally of Navalny, admitted that Putin was losing touch with reality.

Navalija’s wife Julia has also published a photo on the social network “Instagram”, which shows her husband’s transportation to Germany in August.

She has ironically stated that she keeps this image as a reminder of her husband’s “deliberate” violation of Russian law.

Asked by journalists whether Navalny could qualify for a prisoner exchange with the United States, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday: “If Americans suddenly officially confirm that he is a United States citizen and work better for the special services.” Otherwise – no way. ”

Navalny was ill on a flight from Tomsk to Moscow on August 20 last year, and was unconsciously taken to Omsk Hospital with symptoms of poisoning.-

On August 22, Navalni was transferred from Russia to Germany, where he was treated by the Charite Clinic of the University of Berlin. On 2 September, Germany stated that indisputable evidence had been obtained that Navalny had been poisoned by a nerve-paralyzing warfare substance belonging to the Novičok group. This conclusion has also been confirmed by French and Swedish laboratories and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.

Navalni believes that the Kremlin has repeatedly denied him his poisoning.

After returning from Germany, Navalny was detained on January 17 at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport.

On February 2, Navalny was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for violating the terms of his suspended sentence in 2014 while receiving treatment in Germany.

There are regular raids on Navalny, his associates and his affiliates.
