Putin insisted that Russia has acquired efficient long-range and short-range naval aviation, reliable coast guard systems, the latest precision hypersonic systems of armaments which had no analogue in the world and who have perfected constantly and successfully.
He stressed that today the Russian Navy has everything necessary to ensure the protection of the homeland and national interests.
“We are able to detect anyone – underwater, on water, air, enemy and, if necessary, to strike him irreversibly,” said the Russian president.
Last month, Putin announced that Russia could have sunk the British destroyer HMS Defender, which it accused of illegally entering its territorial waters without starting World War III, and insisted that the United States had played a role in the “provocation.”
