You should not sunbathe until after 24 hours

Many are the rumors that circulate around the COVID vaccine. Some are true and some are just false myths.

One of the most talked about in recent weeks is that you should not sunbathe after having been vaccinated. The pandemic has been a disruption for everything, but the vaccination stage is also being it. It has coincided precisely with the arrival of summer, and with temperatures that are pure hell and never better said. Throughout this week it has touched 40 degrees in the interior of the country, specifically in the capital of Salamanca.

Experts recommend not sunbathing after having been vaccinated, as temperatures are being quite high, which would precipitate reactions. It could cause dysthermia, which consists of a rise in the internal temperature much higher than normal: which translates into fever.

Therefore, it is best to wait, at least, 24 hours before being exposed to the sun to avoid an unwanted reaction. It is also recommended not to consume those medications that have not been prescribed. This does not contradict that you cannot take paracetamol if you feel pain in the arm or headache, general discomfort or the appearance of a few tenths of fever after having been vaccinated.

Although if you try to look at the recommendations of the Ministry of Health you will see that the prohibition of sunbathing is not mentioned after having been vaccinated. It is not prohibited, but it is not recommended either.
