As is known, Russia was hit by a series of sanctions from many countries after it invaded Ukraine since February 24, 2022.
This report emerged from the Telegram channel General SVR, an opposition channel that claims to have a network of people within the Kremlin. The report was widely quoted in the British media, including The Sunon Thursday (9/6/2022).
During his rant, according to the report, Putin also blamed Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov for failing to win China’s backing.

At the start of its war in Ukraine, Russia was subject to broad sanctions aimed at crippling its economy.
Chinese President Xi is one of Putin’s closest allies – and one of the few world leaders who has not condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
But there are reports that Russia is becoming frustrated by Beijing’s failure to provide financial and technological support that is sanctioned by most countries around the world.
According to Telegram channel General SVRat a recent meeting, Putin expressed his personal dissatisfaction with Xi Jinping “in harsh terms”.
Lavrov also felt Putin’s sharp tongue and the Russian leader placed some of the responsibility for the failure of negotiations with China on him.
