The crime is said to have occurred on December 30, 2022 between 11:10 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. in a cinema on Cologne’s Hohenzollernring. A 23-year-old moviegoer was threatened with a closed switchblade. The alleged perpetrator is said to have held this to the young man’s neck and threatened him with death. The 23-year-old previously asked for silence in the cinema hall.
Officials are now hoping to identify the suspect and determine his whereabouts. They describe the man as about 1.70 to 1.78 meters tall, who was wearing a black hoodie, a black and gray jacket and light-colored pants. The figure was slim. Anyone who can provide information should call 0221.229-0.
