Thousands of fans paid tribute to PSV late on Sunday evening in the Philips Stadium in Eindhoven after winning the KNVB Cup. PSV beat arch-rival Ajax in De Kuip after taking penalties. Keeper Joël Drommel was the hero at PSV. In the final he turned out to be decisive by stopping Alvarez’s last Ajax penalty. The party was continued in Eindhoven for a while.
