The first store has already confirmed the very bad news for players waiting for the PS5 premiere. Not all PlayStation fans will play on PlayStation 5 in 2020. The company emphasizes that it cannot deliver the expected number of copies to the market.

PlayStation 5 enjoys enormous interest around the world and as we could expect – the number of players willing to buy a PlayStation 5 is greater than Sony’s production capacity. As a result, already two stores (Amazon i ShopTo) confirmed problems with delivery to the PS5 market on the day of release.
However, we can confirm that future players will not receive PlayStation 5 on launch. Irish GameStop sends a message to its customers in which it emphasizes that pre-release orders will not be processed until 2021.
In the announcement, the company emphasizes that the delay is due to circumstances beyond its control and of course offers the option to wait for the PS5 or cancel the order. However, it should be noted that the store did not provide the date of delivery of the console to the market.
The VGC editors also confirmed that only yesterday Sony began informing European stores about PlayStation 5 available for these points, so similar news may appear from several other places. Fortunately, Poles currently do not receive such information.
However, the situation in Ireland is terrible for one reason – customers will not receive the equipment even in December. Earlier, we read information according to which Sony plans a second round of shipping the next PlayStation at the beginning or the middle of the last month of the year.
