Proximus provides All Stars subscriptions with Disney + – Image and sound – News for years

Proximus has signed an agreement with Disney to integrate the Disney + service into subscriptions as an exclusive provider for a year. The All Stars and All Stars & Sports subscriptions remain the same in price.

New and existing All Stars and All Stars & Sports customers can use Disney + from September 15th after which they can use the service for twelve months. The provider will offer Disney + directly through its Android TV decoder, as will Neflix, which is also part of All Stars. Customers who do not yet have the new decoder can exchange it free of charge. The price of All Stars and All Stars & Sports remains the same at 30 and 40 euros per month respectively. What will happen to the offer after twelve months is not yet known.

According to HLN This is an exclusive deal from Disney with Proximus and competing providers such as Telenet cannot make the service part of their bundles. Disney + arrives on September 15 available in Belgium. From that date, the service is also available in Luxembourg, Portugal, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The service has been available in the Netherlands since last year.

The announcement of Proximus will follow one day to that of Streamz. This is a streaming video service from provider Telenet and media company DPG Media, which want to compete with Netflix and Disney +. Streamz must include Flemish and international films and series in its collection. Streamz’s announcement follows approval from the European Commission, which wanted to investigate the impact of the Telenet and DPG Media joint venture on the market.
