Provisional Measures for Smooth Running of 2023 Paris-Versailles Race Announced

On the morning of this Sunday, October 8, 2023, nearly 25,000 runners will take on the 2023 edition of the 20 km of Paris. For its smooth running, the Paris police headquarters has taken, by stoppeda certain name of provisional measures.

Traffic and parking prohibited in several streets of Paris

Between 1:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., parking will be prohibited on the Jacques Chirac quaybetween avenue de la Bourdonnais and rue de la Fédération (not included), and avenue de Suffren, between Quai Jacques Chirac and Rue du Général Lambert (7th). It will also be prohibited to travel on the Pont d’Iéna, Place de Varsovie and Quai Jacques Chirac, between Avenue de la Bourdonnais and Rue Jean Rey.

From 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., it will also be impossible to use a vehicle on the exit ramp for the outer ring road “Porte Dauphine”, that of the inner ring road n°6 “Porte de Saint-Cloud”, the Quai Saint-Exupéry, Quai Louis Blériot and Voie Georges Pompidou.

Finally, between 6:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., traffic will obviously be prohibited on the lanes which make up the race route, the route of which is recalled below.

Winner under the Eiffel Tower last year, Yann Schrub will again be at the start of the two loops in western Paris this Sunday.
