In Konya, which is among the provinces where coronavirus cases are most common, the Provincial Hygiene Board convened today under the chairmanship of Governor Vahdettin Özkan. In the committee, it was decided that people aged 65 and over and with chronic diseases could go out every day between 10.00 and 20.00, and be subject to a curfew at other hours. The decisions taken at the committee to keep the coronavirus epidemic under control were explained as follows:
“People aged 65 and over with chronic diseases should not be present in the market place, shopping mall, picnic etc. areas, do not use public transportation, and from 21.08.2020 organizations such as halls, streets, villages and country weddings will be organized with a maximum of 50 people and wedding ceremonies.
