In fact, digitalization can make it easier to educate the public about the importance of financial and health management, one of which is through insurance products.

“The advantages of digital compared to others, for example, are not limited to physical and space. If it is digital, for example, we can provide educational content continuously without getting tired because digital works,” he said.

As for departing from the desire to promote health insurance for the Indonesian people, Evan said that Sequis Life continues to promote digital insurance products via digital marketing. One of the efforts made is through the launch of Super Well Protection and Super Care Protection health insurance products.

These two products are marketed online and in partnership with the Non-Bank Financial Industry (IKNB) and non-IKNB. The launch of the two products, Evan continued, aims to respond to the market’s need for health and critical illness insurance products with low premiums and can be purchased with a fast and easy process, and does not require face-to-face contact.

“The target in the first year is not grandiose. We want 5,000 people to be covered by this health insurance policy (Super Well Protection and Super Care Protection). The digital contribution to the total is still small because it was only in November 2019 but I say this contribution is will continue to grow,” he said.

Apart from that, Evan provides tips for someone to have an insurance product to maintain their health and finances, especially when the COVID-19 pandemic is not over. “Have insurance if you can as early as possible. Because maybe we can start being productive and actively working so that the risk is definitely there,” he said.
