As the Covid-19 pandemic has prolonged, virtual classes in different educational centers continue, which is affecting students with limited economic resources who do not have the technological resources at their disposal, reported the Sixth Councilor Verónica González Juárez, who recognized this problem, is occurring in the different households of the municipality, both in rural and urban areas, where the head of the family lacks economic resources to solve this need.

The mayor, who had the initiative to donate electronic tablets to child students of primary and secondary education in the second semester of last year, reported the above and indicated “as the Covid-19 pandemic continues, virtual classes continue, the low-income students where their parents, some of them do not have a job and others do not have enough money to buy a more sophisticated equipment that allows them to take distance classes taught by their teachers or instruct them on the task ”.

To date, the Sixth Regidor has donated 40 electronic tablets since the beginning of this campaign to residents of both rural and urban areas “we have donated more electronic tablets to children in neighborhoods such as Arboledas, San Jacinto, La Pedrera, among others in the area. urban as well as rural areas and good are delivered mainly to people with limited economic resources ”.

Among the requirements that the interested parties must cover are “that they complete their primary or secondary education, that they belong to a family with three children and they also have a socio-economic study to corroborate that they effectively require this type of support.”

Once the mayor had the initiative to donate this type of electronic devices, other municipal officials carried out the delivery to students with limited economic resources to which the mayor Verónica González Juárez commented “I am glad that they have had that same initiative, because it is for the benefit of students with limited economic resources and invited more people, businessmen and altruistic people to carry out this type of benefits to more children because the virtual classes will be extended and our students, who are the future of Altamiray Mexico, must continue getting ready ”.
