Prodigal Son: Episodes 3 and 4, Jessica and Ainsley visit Martin, Malcolm accuses his mother, our verdict

If you were in front of TF1 this evening, you could not miss the two new episodes of the new police series event. Indeed, after revealing what was going to happen in episode 3 and 4 of Prodigal Sound, we now give you our opinion on these. Without forgetting to also offer you the details of the new episodes to come next week. While Malcolm’s mental health balance seems to be in jeopardy, will he be able to solve the mysterious puzzle of the girl who haunts his dreams? Is a strange family secret involving his mother Jessica about to explode? Attention, SPOILERS!

In the two new episodes of Prodigal Sound, Malcolm still in the grip of horrible night terrors decides to consult the shrink of his childhood. Hoping that the latter can give him some details on the mother’s behavior. And for good reason, after diving into his subconscious using chloroform, the latter made a terrifying discovery. His mother could be an accomplice to the murders of his father, the Surgeon. The young man then upset will end up verbally confronting Jessica. Before realizing via a police video recording that the latter really suspected nothing.

And yet, if the young woman declares facing the camera that she imagined her husband fickle rather than murderous, a doubt remains. And for good reason, after Jessica visits Martin in jail, flashbacks to Martin continue to cast doubt. A twist which could therefore prove to be very interesting for the rest of the plot and which also promises many twists and turns. Overall, episodes 3 and 4 continue to offer spectators a well-balanced show. Prodigal Sound which oscillates between dark humor and shivering moments manages to maintain a constant suspense, which makes us want to go further. The show is also remarkably well worn by the duo Tom Payne (Malcolm) and Michael Seen (Martin). Without forgetting the incredible presence of Bellamy Young in the role of Jessica, the neurotic and control-freak mother of the hero.

So does Malcolm’s mother know a lot more than she lets out? Is the hero’s memory of the girl in the box really real? These are questions that should be answered quickly. And for good reason, in the next episodes of Prodigal Sound Coming up on TF1, Malcolm will discover new clues to his night terrors. Indeed, the young man, in full trip as part of a police investigation, will hallucinate about a woman chained in a car trunk. A car which could well have a link with the vehicle formerly driven by his father and photographed on a cliché discovered in his memory box.

On another side, Ainsley will continue to visit the Surgeon in order to obtain an exclusive interview to boost his career. And this despite the warnings of his brother Malcolm and his mother Jessica. Besides, to see Martin’s reaction, the young woman will not be at the end of her surprises. So, are these two going to have a real father / daughter relationship? And will Malcolm manage to get his hands on the trunk of the car from his nightmares? You will know it very quickly!
