Carthage Film Festival

Tunisia also celebrated the 33rd session of the Carthage Film Festival in a special creative atmosphere which contributed to the richness of the film movement in the countries of North Africa, the Arab world and Latin America. The closing ceremony was performed by singer Egyptian Sherine Abdel Wahab in a lovely artistic atmosphere.
The history of the Carthage Film Festival dates back to 1966, when it was established on the initiative of Taher Sharia and the task of overseeing it was entrusted to a specialized committee chaired by the Minister of Culture. The festival takes place annually between October and November and is the largest film festival ancient of southern Tunisia.
The aforementioned festival organizes several film competitions with different titles, including the Long Tapes Competition and the Small Tapes Competition.

Jordan Festival

On October 2nd, the Jordan Film Festival concluded its 10th session, in which the Moroccan film “Madad Akher” won three awards at the festival’s awards ceremony, for Best Integrated Work, Best Screenplay, Best Director and the best interpretation. the award went to Jordanian actor Muhammad Al-Ibrahimi for a role in the film “The Burial”.
It is worth noting that director Khairy Bishara headed the judging panel of the festival, which consisted of Dr. Ali Al-Rabeeat and Dr. Amer Gharaibeh from Jordan. The awards were presented at the Royal Cultural Center in Amman, in the presence of the Secretary -The General of the Ministry of Culture, Hazzaa Al-Barari, the Syndicate of Jordanian Artists, Muhammad Al-Abbadi, and the director of the festival, Abdul Karim Al-Jarrah.

Meta Film Festival

In a new and rapid development of film movement in Dubai UAE, the first session of Metta International Film Festival was launched in 2022, with 70 films from 25 countries participating.

With this creative artistic education, the map of Arab film festivals has been drawn throughout the year, and it has had a great positive impact in defining the frameworks for cultural interaction appropriately, according to the ambitious plans of the concerned and targeted messages .
