This is how the experts evaluated

The analysis was carried out in cooperation with the analysis company Morgen & Morgen. The price-performance comparison is intended to show those interested which points are important when choosing a service and what costs they should expect.

The team of experts put together two sample customers for the investigation:

  1. One self-employed software developerwho opted for a sum insured of 100,000 euros and a monthly accident pension of 1,500 euros.
  2. A young mother and Housewife, to which an initial sum of 50,000 euros, a monthly accident pension of 1,000 euros and daily hospital allowance was assigned.

For both examples there is also a Progression performance of 500 percent agreed. In the event of serious accidents, the insurance would pay more money accordingly.

For the comparison, the testers only used the tariffs that Morgen & Morgen had already given the best rating. For the ranking that was Price-performance ratio decisive.

For self-employed: Top 5 accident insurances

In the example with the self-employed insured received a total of eight insurance companies rated “very good”. In the opinion of the experts, Basler offers the best mix of costs and performance with the “Gold” tariff. However, the insured person receives the cheapest price from InterRisk in the “Accident XXL” tariff at 230.00 euros per year. The most expensive is the ARAG with 734 euros annually in the “Premium” tariff.
