Prisoners at the fort, Celebrity | Reveals details from the “Prisoners at the fort” recording: – All the way to the border, you ask me

The trio leading the “Prisoners at the Fort” are not sure if they would participate themselves.

The “prisoners at the fort” are final back on T3 after a ten year break, and in addition to new participants, there are also new presenters – as well as a new puzzle master. The role of host is Julie Strømsvåg (40) and Bernt Hulsker (44) who share, while the new riddle master is Karen-Marie Ellefsen (71).

The program is already well underway on TV, where viewers have so far seen three episodes where celebrities compete in a number of varied tasks at the iconic Fort Boyard in France.

But even though 48 Norwegian celebrities agreed to participate, the trio that manages the show are not sure if they were lucky.

– There is a completely different dimension to this. There are some crazy trials. I had said no thanks to many of the worst tasks, Hulsker told Nettavisen during TV3’s autumn launch earlier this year, and was supported by colleague Ellefsen.

– I do not understand that they dared. They are really exposed to tough things, said the riddle master.

– Would never join

Karen-Marie Ellefsen herself has been asked to participate in “Prisoners at the fort” before.

– I was asked many years ago, and then I said no because I simply did not dare. And I’m very happy about that now, because now I’ve got to see what it really was, she said earlier this year.

– I got a little anxious when he who arranges the cast called me and said that he would like to have me on “Prisoners at the fort”. I did not want to be a participant. But then it was not so, then. He wanted me up in the tower. And that was good, because I would never have been a participant, Ellefsen added with a laugh.

Hulsker, who has previously challenged himself in “Kompani Lauritzen”, thinks “Prisoners at the fort” is at least as hard.

– I want to equate the two programs. There are things here I had never done, guaranteed. No matter how many cameras had followed me. Because there are some trials that are almost in borderland, you ask me, Hulsker told Nettavisen.

Debuts as host

“Prisoners at the Fort” is Hulsker’s first program manager job, a job he does not quite know how he got.

– I do not know completely, really, I just got it, he said.

– They just thought: «Who is the hottest in Norway right now? Bernt Hulsker », shot colleague Julie Strømsvåg in and laughed.

Hulsker and Strømsvåg follow in the footsteps of, among others, Nils Ole Oftebro (77) and the late Jon Michelet.

– God better. Following Michelet and Oftebro is absolutely magical. It’s an honor, quite simply. But I get to do my own thing, and I do. It’s incredibly fun and cool. For who has not seen “Prisoners at the Fort” and has a relationship with it? We all sat on the bench when it went on TV in the 90s and cost us like just beatings, Bernt Hulsker said.

– So that I suddenly stand here now, it’s a little strange, he added.

Three days of recording

Hulsker also made no secret of the fact that it was great to arrive at the legendary Fort Boyard for the very first time.

– There we stood fresh inside the fort. With 100 Frenchmen in action, it was an insane apparatus, he said, adding that he was grateful to have experienced people on the team:

– It was very safe to have Karen-Marie and Julie there for me. For me, it’s completely new to lead something like this. But it went well – I got good guidance. So it was safe and good.

– But it was hectic, he added, before Strømsvåg added:

– It was sick hectic! It was very intense. We were not fully prepared for what the days would be like.

Despite the fact that there are a total of eight episodes, Hulsker, Strømsvåg and Ellefsen were only in France for six days. Three of them were used for preparation, while three of them were recording. In other words, the days became long for all three of them.

– It went in a run. We ran around the fort there for ten hours straight. Up and down, back and forth, said Strømsvåg.

– There were some days where we got a quarter of an hour between the episodes. The script was hot when we got it, Hulsker recalled.
