In a recent interview with CNN, Queen Elizabeth’s youngest son addressed – like no one else – the controversy surrounding his nephew, Prince Harry. Find out what he said, below.
For months now, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have made headlines for his explosive statements about the royal family.
It all started with his decision to retire from the monarchy and move to the other side of the world. Your reasons? Prioritize your mental health. Being part of that circle exposed them to a very toxic environment, as narrated by Harry himself.

In fact, there was so much British media harassment towards Meghan that the former actress, being pregnant with her first-born, thought about attempting on her life.
Harry was not going to allow his wife to suffer the same tragic outcome as his mother, Lady Di, so he took action. Months later, the couple announced that they were retiring from their royal duties forever.
This decision would only be the beginning of their constant scrutiny. When Harry and Meghan met Oprah Winfrey, the media exploded and the royal family focused on the eye of the hurricane.
The couple said, among other things, that the royals had refused to help Markle in his fight against depression and to combat the vile attacks of the British press. They would also have shown concern about Archie’s skin color prior to his birth.
This was not all. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex did a professional collaboration with Winfrey – a documentary focused on mental health that once again addressed Harry’s experiences while living in the UK.
Things got worse when the prince appeared on the “Armchair Expert” podcast with Dax Shepard and Monica Padman. At the time, he compared being royalty to living in a zoo, and said he now felt free.
Harry also criticized the way of parenting, ensuring that he would be a different dad for his children. And of course all this has originated tensions and estrangements between the couple and the royal family.
PRINCE EDWARD SPEAKS ABOUT THE COUPLE
In a recent interview with CNN, Queen Elizabeth’s youngest son said it was “very sad” everything that was happening between Harry and the family. However, these types of controversies are not new in royalty.
“Listen, weirdly we’ve all been there before,” He said Edward. “We have all experienced intrusion and excessive attention in our lives. And we have all dealt with it in slightly different ways.”

The prince added that this situation would be hard for anyone, not just for a member of the royal family: “That’s how families are.” reflected.
“We wish you the best of luck. It is a really difficult decision (to abandon royalty) ”, manifested briefly, without even mentioning Harry’s newborn daughter.
Among other things, the prince said that his mother is coping “incredibly well” death of her husband for 73 years, the Duke of Edinburgh.
