Compulsory tests at the border with Spain

The Spanish authorities announced on Saturday that a negative PCR test would be mandatory when crossing the Spanish-French border. The new regulation will apply from Tuesday.

Only people working in road transport and cross-border workers, as well as people living in the border area, will be exempt from this obligation, provided that they stay within a radius of 30 kilometers from home. This measure has been in force since 31 January and applies to people coming to France from Spain by air, land or sea.
