The draft of the August Decree confirms that the government is working on new measures to support the auto sector. However, there is no shortage of news. Currently, the new incentives established with the Relaunch Decree provide a bonus also for the Euro 6 with emissions between 61 and 110 g / Km of CO2. Within the draft of the new decree it can be read that the Government has decided to divide this band into two: from 61 to 90 g / Km and from 91 to 110 g / Km.
The new first mini band can take advantage of a greater incentive than the second. Let’s get into the details. Cars with emissions from 61 to 90 g / Km will benefit of a bonus of 1,750 euros with scrapping and 1,000 euros without scrapping. To these figures must be added the mandatory discount of the dealer. For the second mini band the amounts remain the current ones. Ultimately a move that seems to have been thought of to favor hybrids.
The second big news concerns the new one fund made available which will total € 500 million, as per previous rumors. However, the amount allocated by the government through a new budget variance it will be divided into the different bands: 50 million euros for the 0-20 g / Km and 21-60 g / Km ranges (to which are added the 200 million already allocated), 150 million euros for the 61-90 g / Km range and 100 million euros for cars 91-100 g / Km.
Obviously, everything is to be considered provisional since they are indications contained in the draft decree. Before approval something may still change. However, it is necessary to hurry. The current fund available for the new incentives of the Relaunch Decree could end already in a very short time since in a few days half of the amount allocated was burned.
