Prevent Dengue Fever, Pematangsiantar Police Deploy Bhabinkamtibmas Perform Fogging

PEMATANGSIANTAR – Bhabinkamtibmas personnel of the East Siantar Police, Aipda Untung JF Nainggolan did the following: fogging at the Asahan Street Police Dormitory, Sunday (6/3/2022). The fogging was carried out in anticipation of the outbreak Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DBD).

East Siantar Police Chief Iptu Andri GT Siregar said the fogging activity was following up on information from the public who were worried about the dengue fever outbreak.

“Indeed, in several sub-districts in Pematangsiantar city, there are quite a lot of dengue fever cases at this time, so residents in the police dormitory (aspol) in Siopat Suhu Village, East Siantar District are worried and hope that fogging will be carried out, anticipating the dengue fever outbreak,” said Andri.

Bhabinkamtibmas, Siopat Suhu Sub-district, Aipda Untung JF Nainggolan who carried out direct fogging, hoped that residents would carry out the 3M movement, namely, draining and brushing water reservoirs regularly, burying used goods and closing water storage areas tightly. “Residents in the Police Dormitory are also encouraged to take care of preventing dengue fever by routinely carrying out the 3M movement,” said the National Police officer who is close to the resident of Siopat Suhu Village.
