Earlier today, President Joe Biden’s administration officially announced that the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Apple Watch Series 9 sales ban in the US will continue.
An Apple spokesperson told 9to5Mac: He said that he strongly disagrees with the decision of the US International Trade Commission (ITC) and will take all measures to resell the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 to customers in the US as soon as possible.
“WE STRONGLY DISAGREE WITH ITC’S DECISION”
Apple made the following statements after the smart watch ban:

That’s what drives our Clinical, Design, and Engineering teams to dedicate years to developing scientifically validated health, fitness, and wellness features for Apple Watch, and that’s what millions of people around the world enjoy.” We are inspired by the great benefit from the product.
“We strongly disagree with the ITC’s decision and the resulting dismissal, and we are taking all measures to return the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 to our customers in the United States as soon as possible.”
Apple reiterated that this decision by the ITC means that the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 can no longer be purchased from Apple in the United States. However, Apple Watch SE continues to be offered for sale.
The company also said that ITC’s decision has no impact on service and repairs for customers who purchased Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 before December 25.
APPLE IS LOOKING FOR LEGAL ROUTES
Apple also said it is exploring a wide range of legal and technical options as part of its efforts to return flagship Apple Watch models to store shelves.
For now, in the US, the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 can be purchased from third-party retailers such as Best Buy and Amazon, but have been removed from sale in Apple stores.
