Mayor Liverpool Joe Anderson praised the performance Mohamed Salah with Liverpool even joked to let Salah be Mayor of Liverpool.
Anderson praised Salah and called it one of the pride of the city of Liverpool. He also joked that he would allow Salah to be Mayor with a special condition.
“He is an asset as an Egyptian player, he is the ambassador of Egyptian football at Liverpool and also English football.”

Anderson hopes that Mohamed Salah spent a long time at Liverpool and was not tempted to move to another club.
