Pregnant child killed in Boca del Río, Veracruz

A young 16 year old woman, who was pregnant, was shot dead in the municipality of Boca del Río, conurbed area to the port of Veracruz.

The victim was identified as María Magdalena “N” and her murder has outraged society for having occurred during the International Women’s Day.

The events occurred in the first minutes of Sunday in the Venustiano Carranza Third Section neighborhood of the municipality of Boca del Río.

While the young mother was on the outskirts of her home living with her relatives, two subjects arrived at the scene and shot her.

The attackers fled in a compact car.

Paramedics arrived at the place but the young woman had died.
