Prchen turned over 65,000 euros with drug deals

According to the police, a Serb (38) living in Linz and his girlfriend (19) earned quite a bit of money with the dangerous stimulant drug crystal meth. With the trade, the two are said to have turned over around 65,000 euros. They obtained the “hot goods” from suppliers in Linz and the federal capital, with whom they arranged to meet via WhatsApp. But after extensive research, the investigators from the Linz City Police Command caught up on them. The couple are in jail.

The 38-year-old has made a confession, according to the police. Accordingly, the Prchen sold at least 323 grams of methamphetamine to various drug customers in the greater Linz area. They bought around 200 grams of narcotic drugs for their own consumption. At the end of November 2020, they wanted to get supplies from Vienna and agreed with their dealers on another drug deal via social media. At this point, however, the drug investigators were on their heels and were carrying out surveillance measures. Officials from the State Criminal Police Office arrested the couple. A court-ordered search of the 19-year-old’s home was then carried out.

During this raid, the police not only discovered drugs, they also seized 1,800 euros in cash as well as banned weapons and ammunition. The investigations uncovered other crimes, for which the 38-year-old is said to be primarily responsible: bodily harm, burglary, compulsion and the suppression of documents. In addition, four drug suppliers from Vienna and Linz were researched. The 38-year-old and the 19-year-old were taken to the Linz Prison.

Drug driver with a false passport

In Pasching, the police were able to investigate a drug driver who had used marijuana. The 35-year-old Nigerian identified himself during the control with the ID of a 34-year-old from Kenya. The hoax was discovered at the police station. The Nigerian confessed to having accepted the documents and the identity of the Kenyan, who no longer lives in Austria, in order to prevent his deportation. With the papers, he could also receive unemployment benefits and emergency assistance, as the police announced yesterday. The 35-year-old was arrested on behalf of the Federal Office for Asylum and Immigration.
