Prank as leader, surprises behind

Last match day Christian Streich stood on the sidelines for the 300th time in the Bundesliga. The SC Freiburg trainer thus confidently tops the list of current coaches. But how much experience can the rest of them have?

Another veteran in the German upper house is Markus Weinzierl. The FC Augsburg trainer has been coaching for his eighth season in the Bundesliga. In addition to FCA, he also worked for FC Schalke 04 and VfB Stuttgart. The Bavarian, who was born in Straubing, can play a total of 209 top division games.

Two young colleagues show off their skills

Surprisingly, two young coaching colleagues appear on ranks three and four. Julian Nagelsmann already has 195 Bundesliga matches in his vita. And that despite the fact that at 34 he is the youngest of all current coaches. His positions at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, RB Leipzig and now at FC Bayern Munich make it possible. 39-year-old Florian Kohfeldt also has an impressive 129 games. Four of them first with VfL Wolfsburg, the rest with Werder Bremen.

New club, but a lot of experience

Foal coach Adi Hütter is the fifth in the group, who delivers a three-digit figure with 115 games. The Austrian has only been under contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach since this season, but the three years at Eintracht Frankfurt have brought in a lot.

Four debutants there

For Jesse Marsch (RB Leipzig), Stefan Leitl (Greuther Fürth), Thomas Reis (VfL Bochum) and Gerardo Seoane (Bayer 04 Leverkusen) it is their debut season. All four stand at just 13 appearances.
