Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN) appoints former Governor of West Java (Jabar) Ridwan Kamil (RK) as chairman of the Regional Campaign Team (TKD) in West Java. Chairman of the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar-Mahfud, Arsjad Rasjid says it is RK’s right.
“That is the right and please,” said Arsjad to journalists at the Sari Pacific Hotel, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Saturday (18/11/2023).
Arsjad said that his party was focused on introducing the ideas and concepts put forward by Ganjar-Mahfud. He said TPN was tasked with ensuring that all ideas were heard directly by the people.
“But we are also West Java, if we have heart to heart, from house to house, from people to people, the important thing is that their ideas are heard, because we believe that Mas Ganjar and Prof. Mahfud are the leadership figures that Indonesia really needs and “the programs are for the Indonesian people, so that’s what we have to transmit, we will ensure that all people respond,” he said.
Previously, the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN) appointed former Governor of West Java (Jabar) Ridwan Kamil as chairman of the Regional Campaign Team (TKD) in West Java. TKN secretary, Nusron Wahid, said the West Java region was the key to Prabowo-Gibran’s victory.
Nusron initially mentioned that Prabowo’s votes had always been superior in West Java in the previous presidential election. For this reason, he said that West Java is a crucial region.
“(The TKD chairman) that we announced is the most crucial in this presidential election, namely the region with the largest electorate in Indonesia, namely West Java. West Java, as we know, was Mr Prabowo’s vote bank during the 2 presidential elections, namely the 2014 presidential election and the 2014 presidential election. 2019,” said Nusron in a press conference at the Prabowo-Gibran Volunteer Secretariat in Slipi, West Jakarta, Friday (17/11).
“When paired with Pak Hatta Rajasa or paired with Pak Sandiaga Uno, Pak Prabowo always won the presidential election and the battle in West Java province against Pak Jokowi. This time, with the strength of reconciliation between Pak Prabowo and Pak Jokowi, we hope that West Java will become “The key to victory is Pak Prabowo Subianto,” he continued.
Nusron is confident that Prabowo and Gibran will win the presidential election in one round if they win by a landslide in West Java. In this way, TKN appointed RK as a suitable figure to lead TKD in West Java.
“We are confident that Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran will win by a landslide in West Java. We are sure that God willing, the election will be held in just one round. With a landslide victory in West Java province,” he said.
“Because of this, the figure and leadership of the West Java TKD chairman is very urgent, very important and must be someone who has great capacity and great capability. Therefore, using various considerations, we have decided that the TKD chairman of West Java province is Ridwan Kamil,” he added.
Nusron said that RK had various achievements while leading West Java. Apart from that, according to RK, he was accepted by all elements of West Java society.
“God willing, he is the newly resigned governor and former mayor of Bandung and a national figure and has extraordinary influence with outstanding achievements that can be accepted at all levels. With the appointment of Mr. Ridwan Kamil, we are confident and we are very confident and optimistic that the province of West Java will “become a place and barn for victory than Prabowo-Gibran,” said Nusron.
