Poznań: teenagers physically attacked at Lake Rusałka

The incident took place on Friday evening, around 8 p.m. at Lake Rusałka in Poznań. As one of the victims informs in an interview with “Głos”, at one point a foreign woman attacked her verbally, and when a discussion arose between them, physical aggression took place.

– One of the women hit my friend with all her might in the face and grabbed her hair. I shouted what she was doing, to which the other one told me to shut up and walked towards me. I dodged and flew off the swing. I wanted to help my friend and come over to pull her away, but the latter grabbed my clothes and pulled me back, saying as if to a dog, “don’t leave it”. So I stood by them, watching them fight and unable to do anything about it. So I started screaming – says the girl, adding that there were a dozen or so people around then, but no one reacted.

After the whole incident, one of the girls called her father, who showed up after several minutes. The aggrieved women together with the adult found aggressive women. When the child’s father tried to find out what had happened, another man joined the conversation – the aggressor’s husband. At one point, a fight broke out between the girl’s father and the women, and another man. In the meantime, when one of the girls asked the taxi driver for help, the driver said it was none of his business and ran to the taxi.

The victims have already reported to the police station, which is confirmed in an interview with “Głos Wielkopolski” Police.

– On Monday before noon, a man and his daughter came to the police station to tell about the Friday incident – says Iwona Liszczyńska from the press office of the Greater Poland Police.
