Instead of hiring to replace those who are on vacation or on sick leave, Correos “indicates to the delivery staff that, beyond their usual section, they have to go to other uncovered sections.” Ignacio Conde, CGT spokesperson speaks of overload: “We have to take another bunch, today there are 3 section s unfilled i in August it seems that we will have even fewer people, they always tell us the same thing, that in the summer the mail goes down but it is not so, of in fact there is an accumulation here of packages, from ordinary, certificate, notification packages etc, quite considerable “
The overload of work has been denounced on numerous occasions, also during the State of Alarm, although the workers have waited until now to call these new mobilizations.
