Pope Francis ordered pay cuts for cardinals to other nuns as the Vatican struggles to balance financial accounting.
“Cardinals will receive a salary cut of 10 percent starting April,” the Vatican said on Wednesday (24/3/2021).
BBC reported the group is believed to receive budgets of up to 5,000 euros ($ 5,500) a month, and some live in subsidized accommodation.
