Western police district warns Monday afternoon against attempted fraud. The police have received several messages from people who have been called from the police emergency number 112.
– We do not call from that number, so it is probably a form of fraud, writes Vest police district on Twitter.
Furthermore, the police state that they can call from the number 02800, but that they are not looking for information that potential scammers may be looking for.
– In any case, we will never ask for a bank ID or other similar detailed account information, the police write.
