Police search nine buildings and find hemp, money and weapons | Inland

The police found a large cannabis nursery in one of the buildings on Haaksbergerstraat in Enschede. As a result of the discovery, grid operator Enexis had to temporarily cut off the power supply to sixty surrounding buildings. There were a thousand plants in the nursery. According to the police, the way in which the electricity was installed in the building created a dangerous situation.

Heavy illegal fireworks were found in another house in Enschede. The police searched both homes and commercial warehouses and seized various items, including several firearms, data carriers, a car and large amounts of cash.
