“Police Officer Sabaruddin Dies in Tanur boat Accident during Investigation: Malappuram SP”

Tanur: Malappuram SP said that policeman Sabaruddin died while on duty in Tanur boat accident. He traveled on the boat in connection with the investigation of the case. Sabaruddin was a civil police officer of Tanur police station and a member of Malappuram SP’s special squad.

He was a part of investigations into drug trafficking and theft cases. It is clear from the information given by the police that he came to Tuvalthira in connection with the investigation of a drug case. Being a desolate area, drug use and the like are rampant. The CCTV footage shows that the thief stole the scooter in front of the Tanur police station. When the scene came, the policemen fell asleep. Finally, Sabaruddin and Salesh, a senior civil police officer, caught the 15-year-old suspect on the eighth day. While there was a delay in arresting the accused, Sabaruddin went to the barber shop to cut his hair and left without cutting his hair. He told his colleagues that he will not cut his hair again until the thief is caught. A few days later, after arresting the accused, Sabaruddin came back to the barber shop. Now that his life has been lost in the line of duty is even more saddening.
