Shooting Outside Drake’s Mansion Leaves Security Guard Seriously Wounded
Toronto (AP) – The police are currently investigating a shooting that took place outside rapper Drake’s mansion in Toronto, leaving a security guard seriously wounded. The shooting occurred in the affluent Bridle Path neighborhood around 2 a.m. on Tuesday.
At present, it remains unconfirmed whether Drake was present at home during the shooting. However, authorities have stated that Drake’s team is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation. Toronto Police Inspector Paul Krawczyk has revealed that video footage of the incident has been obtained and the wounded guard is currently hospitalized.
Feud with Kendrick Lamar
Drake has been involved in a recent rap feud with Kendrick Lamar, with both artists releasing diss tracks attacking each other. However, when asked if the feud played a role in the shooting incident, Krawczyk stated that it was too early to discuss motive while acknowledging that investigators are aware of it.
